Kindness ... Mental Health Awareness Week UK

This week it is Mental Health Awareness Week.. and this year's theme is KINDNESS –a topic that feels especially important to all of us right now.   Wherever you are in the world let's spend this week being kind to ourselves and others.

Our mental health is being tested like never before with COVID-19....  so now more than ever we need to show ourselves kindness and love, as well as support others in anyway we can.

The act of being kind can trigger a release of the hormone oxytocin which in turn reduces stress, decreases blood pressure and improves the cardiovascular.
